Some of our past pups in new homes
Hi Jen,
Here is one of little Sofia all grown up at 3.7 lbs. She is such a sweetie and we can't imagine life without her. She will be going to the vet soon to be spayed and I'm sure she won't enjoy that but it has to be done. She is our little side kick and goes wherever we go on the ranch.
Take care,
Kari, Sofia and Ol' Chet.

Hey Jen,
I finally got a new camera. I've attached some photos of Mr.Big taken today. He just looks so handsome. Everyone we come across always complements his color. He's currently in training to become a therapy dog. He's such a mellow little boy, perfect for sitting on people's laps for petting. hope we pass the required tests. He's due for testing next spring. It'd be so cool to have such a tiny dog do therapy. Anyway, I love what you did with your site. I occasionally check out the new puppies. Wish I could get another one. My household is a little full now with my boyfriends new adoption. Another chi, we named her Coco. She and Mr. Big are the best of friends. That's it for now. Hope you and your family are well.
Have a great night,
Red

Hi Jen,
Spot is doing fabulous. He is such a joy, he is very playful and eating well and using his pad like a good boy. My son is struggling for a name.
Eddie is so grateful for his pup. He has so much love to give him.
I appreciate you meeting us on Christmas Day, as I know we were all tired, I will keep in touch, and send some pictures.
Thanks again,
Cynthia

Jen,
I want to formally thank you for my "Bella" born 1/10/06. Baby of Tasha and Bruce. Boy! Do they make beautiful babies. Bella is everything I expected and more. She is a bundle of joy, cutest puppy in the world, fiesty to play with and so lovable. I can't forget smart too! In two weeks she was potty trained to a pad and oh she is so proud of herself. She comes to her name, I could go on and on! Her check up passed with flying colors she can't be more healthy. The vet's were smittened by her size and personality. She doesn't know a stranger and loves everyone. She is my best friend and I am so lucky she will be here for years of love and enjoyment. Keep up the good work breeding a quality chi.
Bella's Mommy, Cindy

Jen,
Bitsy is really quite an amazing pup! Very playful and affectionate. Someone gave us a ball for a puppy and she not only chases it, she brings it back. We put a collar on her without any fuss and she didn't mind walking on a leash. She pretty much slept through the night, with the exception of a few whimpers about 2:30.
I guess you can tell that we are in love....
Thanks for our new best pal!
Cheryl
Hi Jen,
I just wanted to drop you a note to let you know how wonderful Tiffany is!!! She definitely rules the roost! She has shown the other dogs just who is boss! We surely chose a winner. She is so smart, she is showing the other dogs new tricks! I love the new website design, it's beautiful! Rick and I are so very grateful for the addition to our Chi family, I can't imagine life w/out her. Take care and have a wonderful holiday.
Camille
Jen--
Roxy is doing very well, she is such a smart puppy. We take her every where with us...she is like our baby. I wanted a small pup but thought she
would get bigger because mom and dad looked big in the pictures. Thanks for gettiing back to me so quickly. I will send pictures soon.
Dear Jennifer
This email is long over due. I want to thank you for Kisses. She is such an incredible addition to our family. She is loving and wonderful companion to our 2 1/2 year old Chihuahua Resses and to us. Kisses is confident, beautiful, well adjusted and healthy puppy. My vet thinks she is adorable as we do. She is a social butterfly. Kisses came from a talented, loving and skilled breeder and I thank you. May your puppies continue to bring joy and blessings.
Sincerely
Nancy

I got Pascual from Jennifer and he is the most well adjusted dog I have EVER owned. Jennifer is a great breeder and you can tell by how well behaved her chi's are. I would highly recommend any of her pups. She is a good breeder
HI JEN.
SHE WENT TO THE VET TODAY AND HE SAID SHE IS GREAT. SHE WAS SUCH A GOOD GIRL AT THE VETS. HE WAS ALSO VERY IMPRESSED WITH YOU. HE SAID MOST PEOPLE BRING THERE NEW PUPPY IN AND THEY SAY, "THEY SAID SHE HAD A SHOT AND WORMING." HE SAID HE WISHED MORE BREEDERS WOULD GAVE A SHOT RECORD LIKE YOU DID. PAM WAS A CUTE NAME BUT WE ARE CALLING HER, " CARMILITA" (CARMIL FOR HER FAWN COLORING AND LITA FOR SWEET GIRL). THANKS FOR BEING SO GREAT. BEVERLY
Just wanted to let you know how wonderful our little fatty is doing. She is quite the spunky girl still and LOVES to chase the other animals. We are really enjoying her as a part of our family. Every time someone comes to the door she wants to run outside and follow them. She is sooooo friendly.
Hi Jennifer,
I just wanted to let you know he is doing awesome. He is one of the nicest sweetest (according to my vet) chi's. If I do decide to at some point get another pup, you will be the first breeder I check out. By the way his parents ( mia & sinbad ) have another good lookin litter right now. Have a great week.
Angela
Here he is with his best friend Yummie
( my little lhasa, he's 17! ) on the big bed.
Hi Jen!
We just arrived home - and Natasha and Caitie are sound asleep - together in front of a fire - (its only in the 50's tonight) and they are absolutely adorable. The two of them have bonded and Natasha is incredible! She was un-phased by the flight. When we finally got her - around 1pm - I was really concerned - she had a long day, etc... but we sat in the car for a few minutes with her, relaxed and opened the cage door and she
quickly crawled out on Caitie lap - with a blanket - and that was that. They have been inseparable ever since. She was so well adjusted -
we stopped in town for lunch -(using a smaller carrier) and she was social and had lunch herself! Eating and drinking without problem! I will have my daughter send a photo tomorrow when they wake - Natasha loves to burrow her little face into a blanket, hide her eyes and sleep. Too adorable! We absolutely love her! Her disposition is incredible

So sorry I haven't replied sooner! Kip, now named Cooper, is such a wonderful little boy! Everyone loves him and he adjusted to our home the same day we bought him home from the airport! He plays and "wrestles" with our three other dogs; he especially loves Petey Piper, our Bishon Frise.
One of his little ears has popped up... the other is trying to pop up! He now weighs 4 lbs and his body has stretched, so he's longer now, looking more like a Chihuahua. He loves to eat... anything! He sleeps in our bed with the others and never wakes up throughout the night, unlike my human son! He sleeps so soundly that I can literally pick him up, prop him up, cradle him, give him hundreds of kisses, and he never wakes up! He's very happy and good natured. I'm so in love!!!!!
Hi Jen - - - Just thought I would send an updated picture of our Baby, Rocky. He is SO fun…..and SO spoiled…. Boy – what a personality that little man has….he is hysterical. He and Peppy are doing GREAT….Total buddies. Actually he and our cat, Dewey are great buddies too.
Hope you are doing well. Ashley looks at your website – EVERY – day……. Cute puppies.
Hi Jen,
I just wanted to make sure that you received the contract, I mailed it out last Thurs. or Fri.? Well Alex is doing great! He is such a good boy, has had a few accidents with pooping but only goes pee pee outside. He is getting along really well with the other two, although my little Brownie barks at him and will bite his little ankles sometimes. I thinks its good for him, he really needs to tuff up and bite her back so she will leave him alone. It's all just jealousy but at other times they will be sleeping together just fine. Well I will talk to you later.
Rosanna

Hi Jen,,
We did enjoy our trip up to your place. The weather was great.Don't worry about being late, no problem at all. I loved all your babies and I could see they all love you very much. China is so sweet and is adjusting so well. She does have a set of lungs if I get out of her sight. LOL She is eating well and drinking great too. Gracie who is 3 loves her. Right now they are sleeping in Gracie's bed together. China was crying so Gracie went over and licked her and laid down next to her and they both went to sleep. She did well for her raid too. We stopped and ate at In & Out. We just ate in the car with the air on so she was just fine. She slept all the way home. I couldn't take my eyes off her the whole trip home. We sure do love her. Thanks for giving us a wonderful sweet baby. She is so loving and sweet and good looking. Her ears are all the way up today. She looks so cute.
Hi Jen, Just wanted to let you know that China went to the vet today and he said she was great. He said he used bait for bass bigger then she is.LOL He gave her a 100% on her check-up. She weights 1.7 pounds. She still does not like being alone. Alone meaning if I leave the room she screams for a long time. The vet said not to pick her up or she will yell more just to get picked up. It is so hard not to pick her up but I am trying what he said. She is so cute though and sleeps with us all night and has been so good going potty on her papers. What a great baby she is. Thanks again for such a sweet baby.
HI Jen,
Life seems to be going well, Sinatra is so cute and we have a fallen in love with him. He is getting very spunky and seems to egg Sadie on whenever he gets the chance. I know once hes bigger they will have a better time playing. I have sent some pics, hes growing everyday! The one is him "heloing out" at the office. Looks like most of my staff actually!
Margaret & Sadie & Sinatra

Hello Jen
It's been a while since you have heard from the crew Cocoa, Peppy and Blue. Well let me tell you. They are all just fine. Soon they will be one (1) years old and they all get alone so well. But each one has their own personality. Cocoa is the go getter out of the group and steal all of the attention form everyone. Peppy is still the tiny one but he sure has a big mouth and run like speedy throughout the house. Blue well I have a lot to say about him. He turned out to be the biggest one of the all. We didn't know that he would turn out to be this size. But he is so loveable, cute and quiet and they all love to have their belly rub. . We never knew that Cocoa when be such a jumper. She can leap from the sofa to the bed. I just love her intelligence. she is a very smart child. Hopefully soon I will get a chance to purchase a camera so I can send you some up-dated pictures of them soon. I finish my email on tomorrow will tak to you soon.
Peppy, Cocoa, Blue

Jen Thanks so much for Sweetpea. She is a joy to our family and we love her soooo much. What a beautiful, sweet little girl.

(See Mario on Sage & Chachi's babies)
katie is the most wonderful dog we have ever had, she was housebroken within a week, does not bark, very, very calm, and loves my wife especially, will not leave her alone.
thank you

Hi Jen,
I don't know if you remember me, but I'm Elle. I bought a chihuahua from a bad breeder when he was 5.5 weeks, and I asked your advice in treating him. My sister bought Roxy from you. Anyways, I just thought I would send you pics of the two pups, Jaxby and Roxy, to show you how healthy they are and to thank you again for you help.

Hi Jen,
Bella has grown to be 2.10 oz. at 10 months. She is loving, happy and smart. She completed her obedience course and she’s known as the bravest and best socialized Chihuahua the school has ever seen. We hike everyday and take trips on the weekend to hike. I am sending you a couple of pictures of her from this weekend at Mt. Diablo.
Thanks so much for her…..I love her to death!
Cindy

Jen,
Just wanted to update you on Lindsey now "Tink". She is great we absolutely love her. She didn't like the trip home much, got a little car sick, but after I got her home and bathed (to clean the puke off her little legs) she was just fine. Kassidy was thrilled with her and has been working with her on potty training, playing, and more playing.
I think we made a good choice.
Thank you so much for the great addition to this family. I am already eyeballing Mia & Sinbad's little chocolate girl. How cute are they. You must have had a busy week.
I will send pictures as soon as I get the camera working.
Jana

Sammy did great! Marcus just loves him... And well my family are now thinking of getting a puppy from you. My grandma did not want to let him go home....
The first night he did great. He woke up about around 430 am, and he was licking my face. I took him out side to go do his business. Then he came in and back to sleep. I LOVE HIM SOOOO MUCH! thank you again

Hi Jen,
this is Marisa Martinez, and I got Lupita from you! She is doing really great! I love her so much every day a little more. I am wondering if you are ever going to bred Chico and angel again? I want Lupita to have a brother or sister.
Will you let me know?
How is Angel, I never see her beign bred anymore..hope she is okay!
Hi Jen,
Just thought I would send you an update to let you know how Bella is doing. On Monday evening she started to perk up a little bit, and by Tuesday she was letting her true colors show. She does have such a cute personality! She loves to bark when she plays, it is so precious to hear a bark come from such a small puppy! Her and Daisy get along so well, both of them are so happy to have each other. Whenever I come home from work I find them napping next to each other in their doggie bed. She is just such a wonderful ball of energy and happiness, she is such a blessing to our home. She is eating well now, and is mostly housebroken (she sometimes goes #2 in the house in the mornings, so I have to keep an extra eye on her then). She lasted for four nights in her crate sleeping at night, which was two more than Daisy when I first had her. Now she sleeps with my husband and I and Daisy... it's a good thing I have chihuahuas, or there wouldn't be any room in our bed!!! I will send you some photos of her as she gets older. Thanks Jen for all your help and for the precious gift of Bella!
Jenny

Hi Jen, its Sandra, I'm the one who bought your Chico Jr. I wanted to let you know he is doing really good. He's VERY intelligent and goes everywhere with me. He loves to hide in pet totes. I also wanted to tell you that last summer on our vacation to Catalina Island, we met a famous artist, Ruth Mayer, in her art gallery. When Ruth saw Chico, she couldn't get over how beautiful he was. She asked if she could paint him in one of her paintings and she took several pictures of him, so that she could paint him. I will let you know if she uses him in a painting.
I'm sending you a picture of Chico, with his best friend, Angel.
Please let me know if you ever breed Chico and Mia again, I might want another Chico.
Thanks, Sandra

We are so glad to have Nikko as part of our family. He is the joy of the house, a very spoiled prince my husband would say. He is so gorgeous, whenever we take him out to the store or the park everyone comments on his color. Everyone thinks he is just so cute. Thank you again!
Hi Jen !! I love my new home. I have lots of toys and most of all lots and lots of love !! I will continue to send you photos of all my new adventures !! Love Sunny
Hi Jen,
I just wanted to give you an update on Yogi (Cory). He is quite the pistol. He is adjusting well, and getting along with Bandit (as long as Bandit minds him.) I named him Yogi because he reminds me of a little bear. The whole family loves him and we are having a hard time sharing him. He has a wonderful personality and so full of enery, that he wears ME out. Thank you for everything and we will be in touch. Merry Christmas to you and your family.

Jen,
I just wanted to let you know that Chachi is doing wonderful. He went to the vet on Saturday and got a clean bill of health. He is a real character. He loved to help me wrap the presents to put under the tree. He also enjoyed unwrapping them. I love him to death, couldn't have asked for a better little guy. He is very well mannered and doing well adjusting to his new home. He is so darn cute I find it hard to to discipline him, hehe. But we are working on it. I have attatched a couple of pictures from xmas and his idea of helping me with wrapping. Hope you had a wonderful Christmas. Take Care!
Vanessa

Hi Jen,
"Mario" (now renamed Fatman aka Fatty Daddy) is now doing great. He is playing with Mimi and they already love each other. I have sent a picture. He is such a snuggle bunny once he gets past his shyness. But what a sweetie. Mimi is doing great she is a little ball of energy and is completely spoiled rotten. Could you send us the registration application for him so we could get him registered? Thanks!!
Rachel
Since yesterday, he has been perfect. No accidents. In fact, he is even using a dog litter box with the pad inside. I sprayed some of that Simple Solution training aid in it and got him familiar with the box. Now he will go in the box, which is nice, because sometimes the pads will leak if he scratches through them. He also goes all the way in the box, since it has clear boundaries.
He is actually very well housebroken for how old he is. He is a very good dog.
He doesn't bite me or chew up my stuff. I'm working on leash breaking him, which will take some time, but I read up on how to do it. Basically, attach the leash and let him pull it around a while and get used to it. It may take several days, but he will get used to it.I love him so much. He is sitting right beside me now, as I type on the computer. He loves me. He follows me around everywhere, and is happiest when he is near me.When I left your house, he ended up puking in his seat (on the towel), but he was careful not to soil himself with the vomit. I think it was nervousness and also the winding mountain roads. I have taken him in the car
a few times since then, and he is fine. He seems like he will enjoy a good road trip.
Everyone who sees him can't believe how good looking he is. They say he is the handsomest chihuahua they have seen. I also get a lot of "is that a chihuahua?" because so many are only used to the fawn colored ones. But they all agree, he is very handsome. Thanks again for breeding this wonderful dog. I can tell you and your family took the time to socialize him. He is a very special little guy. The sweetest dog I have ever met.
Thanks,
Chand

Hi Jen.
P-nut is now 5.5 months. She looks like Peanut doesn't she? She is thriving as an athletic, bounding, curious and wonderful playful pup. She could do ajility events.

Hi Jen,
So my husband got me a digital camera as a first wedding anniversary gift, and I knew I had to get some pix of Bella for you! She's grown a bit, and her ears are finally standing up. The last picture is of Daisy and Bella sleeping together. She's got such a great little personality, she loves attention and loves to play with her big sister. She's spoiled rotten with kisses and love, and people "Oooooh" and "Aaaaah" over her where ever I go. When her coat is finished coming in, I'll send you some more pix so you can see her all grown up. Jen, you are a wonderful breeder and I was so lucky to have found your website. Thanks again!
Jenny Wain
Hi Jen, I just wanted to let you know how great Bella is doing (from Babydoll and Chico's litter). I just love her so much, and I'm working on getting you a picture of her to show you how much she's grown. My mom and grandma now want a chi, I told them they must buy from you if they do! I still check your website everyday to see the new babies. :-)

Hey there! Sorry it has taken me so long to update you on Maddox. He is absolutely awesome! We love having him. Than you so much for training him before we picked him up. The vet says he is perfect. Such a wonderful temperment. We feel so fortunate to have found him through you. Thank you again so much. I will send current pics as soon as I can.
OMG,I am so in love with this new little baby girl! She is just tooo cute! And she goes all the way over to the other side of the room to use the wee wee pads. Absolutely adorable AND smart. You are the best breeder on the West Coast as far as I am concerned. And you just keep getting better and better!

Hi Jen,
Well we've renamed Donavin "Slate". He did great coming home in the RV. David said if he didn't barf coming up and out of the canyon he'd be an official RV dog. We blazed it home in 12 hours!!! He loved it. Wasn't sure about being held for awhile and decided he loved it. He's practically perfect in every way! We enjoyed meeting you and visiting with ALL the pups! What fun. I'm enclosing some recent photos so you can see how well he's doing. I wasn't sure how to post something on the past pups sight, maybe you have to do that in house. Would love to see the pic of us leaving in the motor home. Blessings to you and thanks for our precious, sweet, well adjusted, healthy pup!
Lot's of love, David, Kimberly and Slate

Dear Jen,
Thank you so much for Nestley. He is already the apple of our eye and I am sure his new family will love him just as much as us. He was a very good puppy on the way home, with just a few bouts of car sickness. Surprisingly enough our dogs and cat just love him. I was worried about our Chihuahua because he is 9, but Taco seems to want to baby him. This morning I found him sleeping on the floor with my son. Nestley made it through the night without crying and was content to snuggle with Nick. This morning he got up, went potty outside and ate really well. He has been playing and snuggling all morning. Thank you so much, he is a little lovebug. We will be making traveling plans soon and will keep you updated. Did the other girl find herself a puppy?

Jen:
Just wanted to send you an update on your "Drew" who is now Wartena's Golden Blade of Zorro! He is a magnificent dog and my Miss Rita is loving him and so are we. I never knew having one of your Chi's could be so wonderful. His temperment is so gentle and everyone just loves him. You breed the best puppies. Miss Rita says thanks for him too! Here is a picture of him in his St. Patty's Day attire.
The Golden Pack
Hi Jen,
I wanted to give you a little update on Bella. She is the sweetest puppy. She loves to play with the other dogs and already she is very nurturing to them, especially my husband’s pug. She loves to clean his ears LOL. I don’t know what the fascination is with HIS ears because she doesn’t do it with the other dogs. It sure is funny to watch as pugsley lays sleeping and she is just licking away. I took pictures of her snuggled on my bed because she matches my bedspread J but of course I can’t find the camera cord to download the pics. When she got here she was so lovely. My daughter and I picked her up from the airport and we just held her and talked softly to her and she just gazed up at us with very trusting eyes that asked “so are you my new mommy?” The first nite she layed cuddled in my arms and since then she either lays there or under the covers (depending on availibilty :-) I could tell in the days after she missed your family . You all must have given her lots of love. She has settled beautifully into our home because of it. She has the sweetest personality and she is so mellow (in a puppy kind of way). She loves everyone she comes across. Except of course our biggest dog scruffy, the first nite when we introduced them she was so scared she pottied. Poor baby. Over time she has adjusted really well to him. He really is very sweet and especially gentle with her. It was so funny, a few days after she arrived she came scampering into the kitchen and hid behind me as scruffy trotted happily in. I could tell her distress was because of him so I told him how scared she was of him because she was so small and it is amazing how gentle this already gentle dog is with her. I love it. Nobody can tell me dogs don’t understand you. We all love her and are very grateful to you for being so patient with us while we arranged finances. When I find that silly camera cord I will email you pics of her beautiful little face. Oh and you were right about the teething I was able to get one of her back teeth that she spit out a few days after she got here. (her big girl teeth are so beautiful) I will send more updates again. And thank you again for this precious little one and the job you did raising her till we came along.
Tawney :-)

Hi Jennifer,
Just thought I would send you some pictures of Bebee. I can’t believe she is almost a year old!!! She is definitely a little diva, and she loves posing for the camera! We of course love her!
Amee
Hello Jen, I cannot wait for my mom to get my camera back to me. So I can send you pictures of Diego (Ricky). He is such a wonderful boy! so very sweet and well adgusted. I love him so much I can hardly stand it! he is so great in every way. His car sickness has gone. I just kept kissing and petting him and taking slightly longer and longer rides with him to fun places and now he is just fine and even ran all my postal and banking arrends with me today.
He is good when other people hug and kiss him, even this huge biker dude we met in Virgina city yesterday, yet he still makes sure I am within barking range incase he gets sacred. Such a doll really!
Thank you!
Danielle
Jen -
I just finished reading "Chihuahuas.....All About America's Favorite Dogs" put out by Dog Fancy Magazine and who do you think is mentioned several times in the "Feeding Your Dog" catagory! Congratulations!! The fact that you are mentioned several times in this article and your advice is sought out gives you high marks as a breeder in my book!! I learned more from reading this magazine than I did from any books on the breed. It was excellent!!
By the way, it says you have a scrumptous beef stew you make for your dogs and I want to try making some homemade treats, so, since I'm buying this beautiful pup from you, could you throw in a couple of recipes???
Thanks so much all your helpful advice!
Sherry Dice..............Spokane, WA
There is a limited number of these magazines so get yours before they are gone!

Hey, Jen
Took PJ in for her vet check and other than garnering all the attention in the clinic, she got a clean bill of health. Her eyes have been watering but Doc said that is common in Chihuahuas and the wind we are having up here dosn't help. He checked her lungs and heart and said they were great. Not too concerned about the little cough which is only once in a while. He said if it continues to bring her back in but he didn't suspect anything serious. He said most chihuahuas have an underbite but hers is perfect and sometimes they can have dislocated knee caps but hers are perfect. So, all in all, she's the perfect little girl. SHE DOES NOT LIKE HER PEN!! 8' x 9' filled with toys and goodies, etc, but she prefers run of the house! Can't give her that yet and she eventually settles down and quits whining. I won't give in to that so she finally figures out if she's quiet she might get a "Get Out of Jail Free" card!! (lol). She's in there while I'm at work and I think having Calli there settles her down somewhat.
Boy, do I see what you mean about not liking pictures. Holy Smokes!! She has her britches on fire when it comes to that. I haven't gotten a decent one yet!!
Right now she's sitting on my desk at work in her new luggage carrier taking a nap. Front of it is open and she hasn't even tried to get out.
Love her to death!!!
You gotta get some new pics of those chocolate puppies done, girl!! Everything is selling out!!!

Hey Jen,
I think Joey is adjusting well. He is sleeping a lot, but loves to cuddle. He is also doing very well with going potty only 2 accidents so far. He is very mellow and I wonder if he's just being shy right now and once he's completely comfortable he will come out of his shell. He is definitely the sweetest little pup and I am so happy with him
Thank you so much for everything and I will keep you updated,
Sabrina
Hello Jen,
Diego is just wonderful! He is so well mannered and comes with me almost everywhere. Last weekend we drove to a St. Patty's day festival and he had so much attention. He met many other dogs and was happy and sweet to everyone. When there weren't too many people I'd let him walk on the leash/harness and he does so well on it. As if it weren't even a new thing. He is my world! That may not be healthy on my part but at least I am happy! :-) I even began taking him to one of my morning classes and no one even knows he is there and he just sleeps on my lap and I take him back home on break before my long class. One of these pictures are from the end of our day when he passed out in his purse carrier. I hope you and all your puppies/animals are doing well!
Danielle

Hi Jen:
Thought you might like to see how much Mia has grown. This is her Hello Kitty Pink Princess dress designer dress. It is a size x-small. I don't know how long she will be able to wear it, but at least it will fit for Easter. As you can see, she is just an adorable little pup. Sweet and precious!
Enjoy the pictures!
Arte

Hi Jen!
I am so sorry I haven't updated you sooner. I have been waiting 'til I could send the best pictures. We ended up calling Blake Bambi, and it fits really well. What a sweety! Everyone loves him, including the animals. Even the older girl kitty seems to tolerate him a little. The boys love him, and even my dad treats him like a baby. Lucy, our dog, loves him, and tries to always get in on the action. Rocky, the kitty, was playing with him and going for walks within the first few weeks. Bambi is so well adjusted and wonderful, and such a gentleman, like he has been since day one. He developed a full tough-guy bark, after a few weeks of sounding like a cross between Donald Duck and a gremlin- actually, he still does! He is the perfect combination of Angel and Sinbad, and he is definitley the son of Sinbad! He is so funny,
and these past few months have been so wonderful. We are so happy to have found you and Bambi. Thank you so much! We are also so happy to see all the work you are doing and hope everything is going well. We would love to visit you sometime, and for you to see
Bambi. He sure is one special dog. Thanks again, and talk to you soon
Kristen

Paige is healthy and happy she and max get along real good very little fussing they enjoy tug of war and chase I have sent a couple of photo's. Thanks Philip
paige is a sweet heart she just loves to stay in my lap and cuddle where Max is too active and into everything.
Hi Jen this is Michelle and we got Amanda last year for our daughter Courtnee. Boy has she been everything you said she would be! She is ruling the roost. We all including my husband love her! He calls her "Apple Head" When he gets home from work her whole body wags! These are the latest picture of her but they are not real current. Just wanted to stay in touch. Now I know what you meant that Chihuahuas are like potato chips, you can't just have one. If we get another dog it will certainly be from you!
On a side note I noticed from your site that you are dealing with some not so nice people. Well before we found you we were looking at that site and trying to converse with them. They were very strange and when it came to us wanting to come see the puppies they just dropped out. You on the other hand were very kind and patient and informational. I wish you the best.
Thank you for the wonderful addition to our family!

Jen,
Thank you so much for letting us come up yesterday. Roscoe made it home safely, he got a little sick on the horse poo he scarfed down before we left tho.(hehe) Other than that he is adjusting perfectly. I made an appointment for him to go to the vet tomorrow to get his check up. I leave today to go to Kansas City so my mom will be looking after the boys for the week. I don't want to go now that I have them both. They are soo cute together. Chachi loves his little brother. I wanted to see if I might be able to get you to email me his pictures you have off your site so that I have some of his baby pictures. As soon as I get back from my trip I will catch up on taking pictures of both of them and get some new ones to you for your site. Thanks again for two great puppies! I am sooo in love with them.

Attached are some pics of PJ. Sorry, she was having a little bout of teary-eye at the time. Taking a break from chasing a yo-yo around the room with my 5-year old grandson. We had my whole family there plus 8 15-year old teenage boys at the house for the birthday and she just loved and played with everyone. Didn't even phase her!!
Hi Jen!
I just wanted to email you some updated pictures of "Maxwell", he is now Diego however. He is doing sooo well!!! He has the cutest personality! He will play catch for hours nonstop! I get sooo many compliments on him because he loves meeting new people and is so well behaved. He is pretty much house trained and sits for treats, and loves to go on car rides. Anyways I just wanted to let you know that he is doing very well and my husband and I love having him in our family!
Thanks!
Rebecca & Clif

Jennifer,
Thank you so much for sending me Roscoe's baby pictures, they are adorable. Chachi and Roscoe are doing so well. Having Roscoe has made Chachi a completely different dog. I am hoping that Roscoe's easy going attitude will rub off on Chachi to get him better at meeting new people and socializing him. They both are so different in their personalities but such great dogs. They are so entertaining. They make me laugh all the time. Their favorite thing to do is wrestle and make the living room a race track. Thank you soo much for such wonderful dogs. They love each other and I love them. Here are some of the recent photos of the two of them, hope you enjoy.
Tatiana and daughter Bianca had a puppy shower for their new puppy Bellalina. Look at all the goodies and diva gals with their diva doggies. What fun they must have had. All goodies are made for the doggies.
The oh so lucky & already spoiled Bellalina
All the party guest and their human girls
Hi Jen,
Bianca and I are so in love with Bellalina, she is the most sweet well dispositioned puppy and she is such a pleasure to be with. Everytime we look at her we feel so lucky to have her in our lives, there are no other words for her but PRECIOUS !! She came potty trained thank you Jen. She is at our sides at all times. I am now taking 3 petite dogs with me thanks to my puppy stroller and she loves it, everywhere we go people stop us. Good breeding and well socialized by you and your family are the reasons we have such a great baby.

See you this week at the gym~
Have a great day!

Hey, Jen:
Mia is already for your BBQ. It looks like she is expecting an Hawaiian theme! Hmmm, I guess I better get her a grass skirt, too.

Hi Jen,
Louie is so cute and sweet & so much smaller than he looks in the photos. He's so happy & well adjusted - it's priceless to have him potty trained from the get go-thank you again for that Jen! I take him out every 2 hours, he does his biz then runs around bites on the little plants then runs back & stands between my feet. Then puts his paws on my leg for me to pick him up so we can come back into the house. He sleeps in his bed with his stuffed animal pals & not a peep from him. I take him out between 2:30-3:00AM he goes right away then back into his bed-he's really wonderful & loves to play & comes running when we call his name-he's so much fun. As soon as he has all his shots he will be going to the office & on appointments with me-my little mascot! I'll email photos as he grows & get even more gorgeous!
Thank you so much,
Paula
Hi Jen,
We just wanted to let you know that everything is going great with Marshall. He is really the best puppy ever!!! He was only scared the first day and has everyday since become more and more playful. Also his potty skills are excellent! We take him out to the back yard several times a day, and he knows exactly what to do. My daughter wants me to tell you that he is the perfect mix of lapdog/playful puppy. It's so cute watching him chase her around the yard. Thanks, we're really happy with our little guy!

ps. Here are some photos
Hi Jen -
I wanted to write to you to tell you how happy we are with the newest addition to our family. Coco (formerly Cherish) is the sweetest! We're enjoying watching her grow and now that she has all
of her puppy shots, she loves to go everywhere with us and is a big 'hit' wherever we go. She especially likes hanging out in our strawberry patch in the center of my vegetable garden.
I just had to send you a picture... ;-)
Regards,
Rose

Hello!!
He is doing wonderfully! The first two days he was pretty quiet. Not really interested in anything other then napping on the nearest lap. That was fine with me as I was still pretty tired from London. Then at 6am yesterday he came bouncing out of his crate into his little run in our bedroom and was a completely different puppy. Then last night. He found his voice. He have had a few discussions about wether or not it is proper for him to bark and cry until he gets let out of his run. I think he is starting to see it my way....
He went to the vet today and got a clean bill of heath - aside from the sample which they are testing and will get back to me about tomorrow. Everyone at the vets office of course loved him as well.
We spent a good portion of the afternoon racing up and down the hall so right now he has passed out on the couch next to me with is legs in the air. I'm probably going to start a blog or some such for him
so I can post pictures of him. I'll let you know when and where.
I hope all is well with all those new babies!
Mona

Gwen big girl loves her 2

Hello Jen
Well I started this morning but now it is Afternoon. We got the little gal home last night. She rode on my lap all the way home. I gotta tell you I'm sure not crazy about these little ones flying. She was terrified when I got her. But I got her out of the crate and she settled down a little. She was still a little standoffish when we got home.
I slept downstairs with her and another little gal and then this morning she got in bed with Betty Mae and she really liked that and seemed to feel good about it. But later on in the morning we had her outside with the other puppies and she started coming out of herself. She is still a little spooked about everything but getting a lot better by the minute. I think in a day or two she will be part of the gang. Hey, we sure like the looks of that food you sent with her. Oh, another thing. We got her home, she is just a beautiful color, and then being out in the sun today, it sure is different. She has kind of a purple tint to her. So we changed her name. We figured that we were going to change her name anyway so if we were going to change it would be a good time. We are going to call her Violet. Anyway back to the food, is this what you feed and give me your opinion on it as to why you do use it. We just love her. We want to thank you for all your information on your website and things you told us. As you know we are full of questions and if it is alright I will still be e-mailing you with them. One more thing, is there any merle genes in her background. Maximus the male I have, his mother is merle but the lady I got him from does not think he is but I am going to do a DNA on him anyway just to make sure. And if there is any chance at all that Violet has the merle gene I will have her DNA'd also. Please let me know, I have the kit and am ready to swab them and send them in. Another omen I got to tell you. Remember I told you that the my Miah Was born on our great grandson, Jeremiah's birthday and that is why we named her Miah.
Well, We got to thinking that the little girl we got from you was named Maia. She was born on our Grandson, Jeremiah's birthday. Both Jeremiah's are father and son.
Thanks Again and keep in touch. I will send you pictures now and then.
Jerry and Betty Mae.

Violet is coming around, she has cuddled up to Betty Mae Likes her cranberry juice.
Good on the merle. Can't wait on the babies.
What do you mean when you say "adult holistic brand"
And what is her shot record?, we have the others going in on the 14th for their final shots including rabies.
Betty Mae is doing great. It is really a good thing with her sitting around holding one of the babies all the time. It keeps her down.
Between Betty Mae and I we had 7 boys and we are beginning to think that we are cleaning up more Pee pads than we did diapers 40 some years ago.
Can't tell you how much of a pleasure it had been in getting little Violet from you as far as talking to you and all.
Thanks for everything and you and your family have a great weekend
Jerry and Betty Mae

“Gus Bus got five stars at his New-Puppy check up at the vet today. He tested clean for worms and/or parasites; his knees are good, his head is good (molera), his heart is good (no murmurs); his temperature was normal. His family jewels have descended normally, and he's beautiful ...”
My babies … can you stand it!!!
Hi Jen!
Travis made it safely to North Dakota! He is absolutely beautiful and so good already. He rode on my lap all the way home and just quietly rested his head on my leg. He investigated his room completely before passing out on his bed. Poor baby so tired. The crate, papers, shot record, toy, and food all arrived undamaged and he kept himself quite clean despite a whole day in transit...a little stinky:-) but overall very clean little boy. I adore him! I can't believe how well he traveled. He isn't all shaky or scared like I thought he might be after such an ordeal. He is quite the little man. Thank you so much for giving me such a perfect baby. He has his new puppy appointment on Monday. I'll let you know how it goes. Thank you thank you thank you!
Best Wishes,
Carish and Travis

Hi Jen,
Travis got an A+ from the vet. Also, everyone was so impressed with him. Not only his looks, but he already is really good on his leash and harness and just follows me even in a croud. We also stopped by Walmart and a Pet Store to order his food and he was perfect. No car sickness and he just naps in his carry purse during the drive. WOW! is all I can say. He is truly an amazing little guy. The only thing that gets him upset is when I shower...hahahahaha..it cracks me up! He just hates it! Eventhough he sits right next to the tub, he gets more upset than when I go down to the basement completely out of sight to do laundry. LOL it is really funny.. he does this little howling whine thing. It is good though because it encourages me to not doddle and I'm sure my water bill will go down for a bit. I tell everyone about you and if I ever get Travis a buddy...you are the only breeder I would go with. Thanks again and have a great rest of the summer!
Carish and Travis
Hi Jen!
I just got back from a late Christmas in CA. Travis and I went home to visit Grandpa and Grandma. He is the MOST AMAZING Chi. People in the airports flipped-out and everyone wanted to pet him. I even got a girl from New York who wants to bring her female to breed to him next time she travels North. He is just so stable and gorgeous. He doesn't shake, or bark (as long as he can see me), he still runs outside in 10* weather because he refuses to go to the bathroom in the house. But most of all he is just so social. He wants to meet everyone (adults, kids, dogs, cats, horses) and he even visited a Dementia Ward at the Retirement Community my mom works at. He has been to a rodeo, in a parade, on a boat, on planes, countless car trips, to work, shopping, vet appts, bathes ALL w/o any fear or misbehaving. So thank you for such a Terrific Travis!! I hope you had a Happy Holidays!
Carish and Travis

She is doing fine. She climbs out of her playpen. We have Bambie sleeping with her at night. She would wake up at 1:30 everynight and just start crying. Tried to sleep with her, but she wanted to play. I told her she needs to stop her climbing or she will get hurt. She loves to run and run all over the house. We call it hyper drive. She is just beautiful and we love her. Pam

Hello Jen,
Just wanted to say hello and tell you how Violet is doing. She is quite a gal We love her to death. We now sit out in the puppy yard to have our morning coffee. They are so much fun to watch. They make us laugh all the time.
I attached a couple of pictures of her.
I saw your rescue page on your website. We are so glad there are people out there like you and your friends. You are far and few between.
I might have sent this one to you before but it is good for today too.
“Those who bring sunshine into the lives of others can’t help from getting a little on themselves”
I was looking at your Bentley, he sure is nice, I love the merles, maybe if you still have him in a month or two I will ask more about him
Anyway you have a good day.
Jerry and Betty Mae
Hi Jen,
Just wanted to send you some updated pics of the kids, Mimi and Bam-Bam, for the past pups page. They got all decked out for the 4th of July. They are such wonderful additions to our family and totally in love. They have two completely different personalities. Mimi is our spoiled little princess. She runs the house and everyone in it. She constantly has to be with either me or her other mommy (my daugther Taylor). She is very intelligent and you cant get nothing by her. She is happiest when she is on our laps. Bam-Bam is the sweetest dog you could ever meet. Everyone that meets him falls in love with him cause he is so friendly! He loves everyone, kids, dogs, cats, you name it. He is the hit of the party wherever we take him. He is a licker! and very devoted to Mimi, constantly grooming her. It is the cutest thing. Mimi just got spayed about a month ago and she is doing great. My vet office kept her over night to make sure everything went OK and they spoiled her as well. The vet techs said they carried her around everywhere. She is only 2.8 pounds, soooo tiny but she sure doesn't act like it. Well take care and hope everything is well, thanks again for our wonderful babies!
Rachel

HI JEN,
HERE IS AN UPDATED PICTURE OF OUR LITTLE TRINKET. STILL AS CUTE AS EVER. WE WENT ON VACATION TO HAWAII AT THE END OF JUNE, AND BOTH OUR DOGS WENT CAMPING WITH MY PARENTS. TRINKET SLEPT UNDER THE COVERS WITH THEM EVERY NIGHT, AND JUST ABOUT
STOPPED EVERYONE WHO WALKED BY HER. SHE GETS LOTS OF ATTENTION WITH HER AMAZING MARKINGS. WE JUST LOVE HER
SOOOOO MUCH! SHE IS SUCH A GOOD GIRLS. BY
THE WAY THESE BASE BOARDS ARE 8 INCHES, SO YOU CAN SEE SHE IS A LITTLE MUNCHKIN. MY PARENTS DIDNT WANT TO GIVE THE DOGS BACK AND ARE NOW CONSIDERING GETTING ONE. THEY JUST HAVE A CAT. MY STEP DAD IS NOT A DOG FAN, BUT TRINKET SURE SNUCK HER WAY IN HIS HEART. HE IS THE ONE SHE CHOSE TO SNUGGLE WITH THE MOST! (SHE IS NO DUMMY!) :) ANYWAY, HOPE ALL IS WELL WITH YOU. ROBIN STARTED HER JOB IN THE REAL WORLD WITH PRICE WATERHOUSE HERE IN
LA, AND IS LIVING IN DOWN TOWN. WE ARE HAPPY TO HAVE HER BACK NEAR
HOME. :) SHE DID GET HERSELF A NEW KITTEN, THAT IS JUST ADORABLE.
SHE IS A LITTLE HIMALAYAN (SEAL POINT) .
TAKE CARE!
DENISE
Just wanted to give you an update on Apollo, formerly Maddox. He is doing wonderful! Here is a current picture. We are so thankful to you and your family for doing such a great job with him. Everyone gushes over how spectacular he is. Well, take care.
Thanks again,
Jennifer
Celie's well-puppy exam went well, fecal lab work was negative, and Dr. Karen said she is nice and healthy. Needless to say, Dr. Karen and her staff went bananas over her. Celie was not to impressed with the thermometer and therefore is not happy with the staff. She weighed in at a whopping 1.11 lbs. Hopefully, she will be at least 4 lbs. Right now she is so tiny, but has a big heart and a big growl.
Here is a picture of her very first fitting and completed vest by Miss Christine of Christine's Creations for Dogs. I think this little vests really shows Miss Christine's talents. There is nothing like having custom made clothes for your furbabies. This way you know they will fit and you get the colors and patterns you want.
Celie is such a good puppy. She uses the pads and has not made one mistake. I was really impressed considering how small she is. But she sleeps all night and then runs for the pad in the morning. She also started going up and down the stairs to get in and out of the bed the first night I brought her home. She is such a sweeheart.
See! I knew this pup was born just for me. She sleeps right under my chin and stays there until I get up. And Mia is now sleeping right next to her. Mia is becoming a wonderful big sister.
Here's a picture of them together also.

Hi Jen, here are some pictures of Chico when he was 10 months old. I fostered some kittens for the SPCA and he helped me. He was so good with the kittens, cleaning them and cuddling with them. He is such a good dog.
Sandra
Jen,
I took this picture yesterday. Chachi is about 10 months old and Roscoe is about 8 months old now. My mom has a Shitzu (Maggie) whom they adore, and she brings her over to play every morning. They spend the day together. I call the the THREE AMIGOS. Maggie is the same age as Roscoe. They sure are characters. Chachi is Mr. Active always ready to do something and Roscoe is my little cuddle bug, he is the best cuddler, he loves to give kisses too. Chachi protects the house while Roscoe is only vocal when Chachi has a toy or bone he wants. I call him my little screamer, he sure gets a high pitched bark. They are such great dogs, and the light of my life. Thanks sooo much for my special boys. Hope all is well. Take Care
Vanessa
Roscoe and Chachi's mom….
Hi Jen,
Duke is doing great, really adapting to the lifestyle here. He is fitting in really well and is not trying to push his way in anymore, and he is learning the ropes. Everyone really loves him, and he does his best to get on everyone's good side. He is so cute, and is becoming more beautiful, with his shape and proportions evening out. We decided that he is goinf to work out great, and we couldn't imagine the family without him. We've been thinking of names, they're all cute, but we have yet to find one that is perfect. By the way, he is doing great on potty training, only a few little accidents, and he is being pretty well behaved. He has quite the personality, jsut as big and outgoing as the rest of the family! He is so beautiful, and we can't get over the other beautiful puppies that are on the site. Now that we have two boys, my parents want me to be able to have a tiny little girl. The boys are great, but, boy, are they stinky HA. I love the little girls that have been born, and can't wait to see the other litters that are coming up. I really like that spotted white girl out of Taz and Montana, I have to keep my eye on her!
Anyway, we'll get a testimony and pictures ready for you. Thanks Jen, have a good one.
Kristen

Hi Jen:
Just wanted to send you an updated pic of our Blade (Your Drew). He is the most precious puppy and getting so much love from our family. Thanks so much for all your work with him and for being available wheneven I need you...
He is so photogenic just like Miss Rita.
Hi
Boo Boo update. He is outstanding. Whoever that breeder was, she knew what she was doing. he is just the sweetest little guy. He loves all the animals and all the people here. He is eating good. Right now he is sleeping in his new beddie under a bunch of his own blankets on my bed. I want to die and come back as one of my chi's. what a life. Thanks so much for letting me adopt him. Miley is ruling the roost here. She is the boss of everyone except the aussie, who she follows everywhere. What smart little dog, one of the smartest I have had. They both have that great temperment and huge ears. Well thats it, Benny is doing 3 tricks, sit down and sit up, I am not sure whether I taught him or Miley did. But he does it for little slivers of chicken. Weigh him everyday and he is very constant.
All for now hope to get photostomorrow.
Kim and Big B Man

Hey Jen,
I just wanted to check in and let you know that Ringo (jag/picaso) is
doing splendidly. At 7 and a half months he is still not quite 3 and
a half pounds - but more beautiful then I would ever have imagined!
And he has his own blog....
He is the star of the dog park and makes friends where ever he goes.
I see he has a baby sister now! Can't wait to see pictures of her!
I hope all is well!
Scott, Mona and of course, Ringo!
Hi Jen,
Sorry it took so long in writing but I just learned how to put Daizee's picture on my e-mails. Daizee is such a sweet girl. She loves to see herself in the mirror and does such cute antics. She is almost housebroken but still occasionally has accidents.
She starts puppy school on the 7th of January. Daizee took to her crate really well. She slept all the way home from your house. My other dog is just tolerating her. Daizee doesn't understand why he won't play with her. Daizee learned how to use the doggie door on two tries, she is just now learning what the door is for.
Her Vet was real impressed with her and how cute. She finished her shots
and the next step will be to get her spade.
Thank you so much for Daizee (Rena). I would most certainly come to you
for another Chihuahua.

Dear Jen:
I am writing to express my adoration of my little puppy "Cain" that I got from your Napolean and Faith litter. He is the most adorable little guy and oh so smart. He has already figured out how to climb up on the bed using the hope chest at the end. He follows me around like my shadow and is doing pretty well on the outside potty training. Miss Rita and Blade are showing him the ropes. It is funny because he is not scared one bit of either of them and Blade could whip him with one paw but Blade is being the nicest big brother. Here is a picture of the three of them in their Easter outfits...(you can see who dominated the picture) and one of Cain in his easter basket.
Thanks again, Christine
Hello Jen!
I want to tell you that Diego (formally Ricky) is doing extremely well. He is a wonderful dog/son :-) many people in town tell me he is not a Chihuahua at all. Because he is so sweet and good. Then I tell them I got him from you and that only the best tempered doggies come from Jen’s chi babies. His second best bud is a huge dog they are so funny together and Diego dominates! He is so wonderful, as cheesy as it sounds he makes my world a happier place. He is now 6 pounds but doesn’t look it. He is strong and happy. He is the dog that wins people over whom are/were afraid of little dogs!
Our rescue dog Tico, had a major $3,000 invasive surgery and we had to keep her behind a fence in the bedroom so she nor he would lick her stitches. My boyfriend and I came home and found Diego cuddling with Tico, it was so sweet, Diego is such a love
While my boyfriend and I were on vacation Tico and Diego stayed with some family, one which trains the Hollywood dogs. She took Tico and Diego to work every day and everyone said how well behaved they were, esipcially on the set. Diego met Mooney the Legally blond dog and Mr. Muggles from Heroes.
Thank you Jen for putting Diego and I together I am an eternally grateful.
Danielle Marie
ps Mr. muggles is in the 2nd picture I sent you.

I finally got some cute pics of my little Cain...thought I would share. He is the most adorable, friendly dog ever..

Hi Jen,
Here is my Chi team Louie & CiCi. Now, I see why most owners have at least 2 Chis they are so much fun to watch & they have a great time playing together. They both have the best personalities!
Thank you again,
Paula D
Thank you again for having
beautiful pups with such
great personalities.
We love them both.
